Queen Rania is Wearing Ralph Masri’s New Collection Already

HM Queen Rania wore earrings plucked from Ralph Masri’s new collection in Davos, Switzerland yesterday. Her Majesty chose a pair of the diamond-set, triangle earrings by the 2016 DDFC/Vogue Fashion Prize honorary fine jewelry design winner to attend the World Economic Forum with her husband, His Majesty King Abdullah of Jordan. The earrings are part of the Lebanese designer’s Modernist collection, which Vogue Arabia exclusively unveiled in the October 2017 issue.

It isn’t the first time Her Majesty has chose a design by Masri. The Queen of Jordan was filmed at a Google Zeitgeist interview donning a pair of Ralph Masri Phoenician script zig zag earrings. Weeks later, she was photographed wearing his rose gold Arabesque earrings. “Since Her Majesty wore my jewelry for the occasion of Jordan’s anniversary of independence, I have had people come to my store asking for the Queen Rania pieces,” Masri told Vogue Arabia.

Despite having only launched his brand a little over five years ago, his designs have found fans in major stars including Palestinian-American model Gigi Hadid, who was spotted wearing one of his rings during London Fashion Week, as well as Nicki Minaj who rocked the Phoenician Script ring in Miami last summer.
