Each time Queen Rania steps out, one can expect her to make a statement with her wardrobe. This weekend, the Jordanian royal visited the UAE, where she, along with husband King Abdullah II, was given the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity. During the weekend, Queen Rania met with the Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Her Excellency Shamma bint Suhail Faris Al Mazrui, in Abu Dhabi dressed in a dreamy floral dress—a black Erdem number that came patterned with soft pink blooms. The collared midi also featured a thick belt at the waist, which added structure to the look.
Often seen in soothing pastels and shades of white, Queen Rania’s latest look came as a welcome change, and made a strong case for bold patterns. The royal wore her dress buttoned up for a formal finish, and paired it with classic accessories. Her picks: a pastel pink Gucci clutch in suede, and black Tom Ford pumps. Take a closer look at her ensemble below.

Queen Rania stepped out in not one, but two note-worthy looks in Abu Dhabi
While in the UAE, Queen Rania made a second appearance for the awards ceremony in a look that’s worth bookmarking if you love smart separates. The royal accepted the award dressed in a crisp white shirt —which many will agree is one of her favorite staples—by Lebanese designer Salim Azzam, and a bright red skirt by Emilia Wickstead.

What made Queen Rania’s ensemble stand out was the detailing on her blouse. The puff-sleeved shirt came embroidered with a single red rose, along with soft white and grey doves that seemed to fly across the fabric as a symbol of peace and love. To complete this classic, yet not-so-basic look, she went with delicate gold bracelets and glossy nude pumps by Salvatore Ferragamo. For both outings, the Queen chose her fail-safe beauty look: neutral makeup and sculpted honey gold curls. “I am humbled to share this award with His Majesty King Abdullah II, who embodies the values we celebrate today: tolerance, goodwill, and an unwavering commitment to peace,” she wrote on Instagram later the same day. “It gives me great pride to accept this award bearing the name of an icon of generosity in the Arab World and beyond, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.”
