HM Queen Rania of Jordan‘s latest public appearance included a visit to the Al Ahd and Al Ittifaq Charitable Society’s headquarters in East Thuheibeh, Amman. To meet representatives of the local charity supported by a Royal Hashemite Court (RHC) revolving fund, the royal opted for a sophisticated look centered around her new favorite outerwear: a belted jacket.
While she usually prefers colorful ensembles, Queen Rania’s latest look featured neutral hues. She was photographed at the meeting wearing a taupe cashmere jacket with lapel collars and a wide belt buckled at the waist. The piece was paired with slim-fitted black trousers and matching pointed-toe pumps with a low heel. With a mask covering most of her face, the royal’s makeup look seemed to be minimal, and her golden brown locks were worn in one of her go-to half-pinned half-down styles.

According to a statement from the royal’s office, Queen Rania lauded the charitable society’s board members for their diligence and dedication to uplifting their communities, adding that their work is evident of their “deep commitment to the values of solidarity, cooperation and generosity”. The society works in collaboration with the Jordan River Foundation to distribute the RHC-supported fund to members of its community, aiming to empower local residents to launch their own income-generating projects and improve their livelihoods.
Queen Rania also met with some of the society’s beneficiaries, who briefed her on their income-generating projects. “These enterprises have flourished because they meet the needs of your communities,” she said. She also visited local homes, meeting with the women who serve as their families’ breadwinners.
