Princess Rajwa Wore a Denim Dress to Her First Official Outing Since the Royal Wedding

In the days leading up to her wedding, HRH Princess Rajwa Al Hussein stunned the world with a series of extravagant outfits. The Saudi beauty had been on a sartorial roll from her custom henna party dress by Honayda to her dreamy Elie Saab bridal dress, followed by a romantic Dolce & Gabbana gown for the reception. Now, the newlywed has another look to her repertoire, with this one being a much more casual ensemble than what the world last saw her in.

For her first public appearance as part of the Jordanian royal family in Idaho, US, Princess Rajwa opted for a denim dress by Maison Alaïa. The full-sleeved modest pick came with a hood and was cinched at the waist with a wide black belt detail. The royal paired the dress with a white top underneath and matching sneakers, as well as a black shoulder bag. Although far from the traditional looks she has sported over the years, her latest outfit speaks to Princess Rajwa’s refined personal style, which the world caught a glimpse of in several post-engagement portraits and public appointments.

What’s more, the royal was not alone in championing a pared-back look on her day at the Sun Valley, as HRH Prince Hussein and Their Majesties Queen Rania and King Abdullah II too stepped out in color-coordinating outfits. While Prince Hussein and King Abdullah II wore layered navy blue clothing, Queen Rania wore a matching dress by Vocavaca. The mother-of-four also matched her sandals to her handbag, as both of them came in a similar brown hue.

This is not the first time Princess Rajwa has shared a relaxed side of her wardrobe. Last month, the newlyweds took to Instagram to post an Eid Al-Adha greeting, which saw the newlywed dressed in a white t-shirt with a loose printed shirt.
