Peek Behind the Scenes of Vogue Arabia’s Revolutionary New Cover

When the mercury rises, a dip into an ice-cold, shimmering pool is a must – but not many do it with as much style as Ashley Graham and Paloma Elsesser. The mega-watt models gamely took a dip in New York for Vogue Arabia’s July/August cover shoot, dressed in Studio 54-worthy sequins and myriad metallics. Watch the video above for a behind-the-scenes look at the runway stars, who were captured by photographer Miguel Reveriego for the statement-making shoot, an ode to beauty without barriers.

In the accompanying interview, the duo open up about their journeys to self-love with Graham, who is the tenth highest-paid model in the world, revealing that spreading her “beauty beyond size” message might just be her “destiny.” “My mother told me that when I walked into a room, I would greet every single person – even at three years old,” the model tells Vogue Arabia. “It was more of an emotion that I would give people, and it would leave them feeling good about who they are. I think that’s what I’m doing today; letting women know that they are worthy, that they are beautiful, and that they can be happy with who they are in their skin.” Want to know more about the issue, which celebrates all shapes?
