This Paris Fashion Week, the Arab world’s much-loved style stars in attendance have served up plenty of standout looks.
Egyptian actor Yasmine Sabri viewed Balmain’s SS23 collection in the brand’s signature blazer and black leather pants and switched things up ahead of the Valentino show by wearing a dress in the fashion house’s popular shade of hot pink. At Dior, Lebanese entrepreneur Karen Wazen embraced a rarely-seen persona in a Matrix-inspired black jumpsuit which she styled with a dramatic smoky eye and slicked-back hair. Speaking to Loewe’s artful presentation later, the mother-of-three sported a mini dress and long coat with red balloon-like sunglasses.
Her energy was matched by Saudi blogger Nathalie Fanj, who paired her black asymmetrical dress with statement baggy shoes from the Spanish fashion house. For Hermés, Fanj made a case for contrasting hues in a two-toned blazer, leggings, and a bright red mini Kelly bag. Also at the show was Saudi entrepreneur Nojoud Alrumaihi, who offered modest dressing inspiration in a high-neck top and flared trousers in a calming shade of blue, paired with a brown hat and matching heels.
At Elie Saab, Tunisian actor Rym Saidi arrived in support of the Lebanese designer wearing a glittering purple caped outfit from the brand, while Salma Abu Deif opted for a black, wide-sleeved dress. The Egyptian actor was also spotted at Valentino, for which she slipped into a striking green cropped poncho with a feather trim, pairing it with green platform pumps and a matching metallic handbag.
