The Oscars have been the backdrop to some magnificent jewelry moments over the years – and the 2023 ceremony was not short of wow-factor. The stars were out to impress on the jewelry front, with dozens of guests opting for statement-making pieces on the red carpet.
All eyes were on Deepika Padukone’s mesmerizing Cartier pendant, a contender for biggest stone of the night, while Angela Bassett, Sandra Oh and Florence Pugh all accessorized with chunky, sculptural necklaces. Chokers were a common theme, too, as seen on Halle Bailey (De Beers), Cara Delevingne (Bulgari) and Janelle Monáe (Reza Jewlery).
