Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Winnie Harlow, and More: The Best Dressed Women at Oscars 2023

We’d be lying if we said that the Oscars red carpet wasn’t always one of our favorite fashion moments of the year.

Sure, New York, London, Milan and Paris may have just wrapped their seasonal fashion week showcases, and we may still have a couple more months before the red carpet extravaganza that is the Met Gala, but there’s something about the Oscars red carpet that welcomes an unbeatable sartorial buzz.

And while Cate Blanchett, Ana de Armas, Angela Bassett, Michelle Williams, Michelle Yeoh, Austin Butler and Paul Mescal – just to name but a few of the night’s major nominees – undoubtedly had their sights set on a slightly shinier, more tangible gong, the (unofficial, of course) title of ‘best dressed’ proved to be one of the evening’s most competitive categories.

Always marking the culmination of awards season, the Oscars is usually the event for which attendees save their very best looks. And if the red carpets from this year’s Golden Globes, Brit Awards, Grammys, BAFTAs and SAG awards were anything to go by, the 2023 Oscars was always set to be major.

Keen to catch up on the red carpet looks? Keep scrolling to take a look at all of the most major fashion highlights from the 2023 Oscars red carpet…
