Jimmy Choo Teases Upcoming Off-White Collaboration

In recent months, perpetual collaborator Virgil Abloh of Off-White has teamed up with a number of popular brands, including Nike and Champion, and now it looks like Abloh is adding yet another collaboration to his ever-growing list. It’s been revealed that Off-White will be joining forces with luxury footwear brand Jimmy Choo for a capsule collection for the upcoming Spring 2018. The collaboration will mark the first time Jimmy Choo has teamed up with a ready-to-wear label on a shoe collection.

Set to be unveiled during Paris Fashion Week, Choo — now under the Michael Kors umbrella— will be creating shoes for the Off-White Spring 2018 ready-to-wear show on September 28. The collection will then be available for pre-order online at www.jimmychoo.com directly after the fashion show, followed by a global launch in stores in February.

The collaboration is sure to sell out immediately in the region, with Jimmy Choo and Off-White boasting a loyal checklist of Middle Eastern clients. The brands, which are revered by It girls from Beirut to Dubai including Lana Sahely and Leena Alghouti, offers the perfect solution to wearing both labels simultaneously – a high-street sartorial choice that’ll likely take over our Instagram feeds come spring.

Jimmy Choo took to Instagram to tease the capsule with a short video posted on the brand’s official profile, captioned: “2 brands, 1 collaboration: Get ready for Off-White c/o Jimmy Choo. Join us live on Facebook from the @off____white SS18 show in Paris, Thursday 28th September 20:00 GMT.”
