Kim Kardashian West’s love of fashion is world renowned, so it’s only natural that her daughter North West would share the same enthusiasm. Kardashian West has been notably absent from the European shows, but she turned up on Saturday for a special event in Californi’a Pacific Palisades. The L.O.L. Surprise Fashion Show is a far cry from the runways of Milan and Paris, but the kids-only affair was arguably much more fun. Dedicated to the line of adorable bug-eyed dolls that have become a viral sensation, the show featured a host of celebrity children walking in costumes that matched their favorite dolls.
Proud mom Kim served as chaperone while North took a strut in a black-and-red leather jacket, akin to the one Michael Jackson wore circa Thriller, and made a little twirl on the backyard “runway.” With kids playing and parents watching, the vibe was more Halloween bash than fashion show, but the group made the most of the party. Joined by other celebrity kids such as Busy Philipps’s daughter Cricket, North had a blast as her mother cheered her on in the audience and later shared the moment on social media. A bit of wholesome fun just for the children in attendance, the L.O.L. Surprise show didn’t take itself too seriously, which made the tutus, unicorn horns, and toys featured all the more fun for parents and kids.
