Earlier this year, hotel heiress and New York society star Nicky Hilton Rothschild announced she was expecting her third child with financier James Rothschild. The couple married in 2015 at The Orangery of Kensington Palace Gardens with Hilton walking down the aisle in Valentino Haute Couture. It’s no surprise, then, that her maternity wardrobe has been a spectacle of dazzling design, all coinciding with an IRL bump debut at New York Fashion Week.
Celebrating the news with her fans in an Instagram post, Hilton Rothschild donned a black Self-Portrait dress with decadent crystal embellishments. Announcing that ‘the best things in life come in threes’, legions of her 1.3 million followers lauded her radiant glow and burgeoning belly. Hilton sisters-style-sleuths may have experienced some deja-vu the week later as Paris wore the same dress for an appearance on talk show Watch What Happens Live alongside her mother, Kathy. The style certainly has the Hilton seal of approval.

Just a little under a fortnight later it was the start of New York Fashion Week, of which stalwart Hilton Rothschild has been a front row fixture of for the past two decades. Celebrating the inaugural night at an event with luxury department store Saks, Nicky wore a Christopher John Rogers design, and arrived in style on his arm. A rainbow-striped body-con midi dress was the choice for the evening; a bright and cheerful display of fabulous fashion.

The next day saw Hilton Rothschild attend the Patbo show. Sitting next to Upper East Side style devotee Olivia Palermo, Hilton Rothschild posed for photos in an ethereal blue ombré gown with hoop detailing, cut-out sides and billowing sleeves. Pairing the look with beachy blonde waves, Hilton Rothschild imbued a goddess-like elan.
That very evening, it was time for Hilton Rothschild to support friend and designer Stacey Bendett at her Alice & Olivia show. Swapping fairy-like whimsy for downtown glamour, Hilton Rothschild wore a leopard print silk slip dress, black leather biker jacket, studded bag and black courts; the perfect recipe for refined rock-chic. She took pictures by the Warhol-esque prints and giant soup cans proving pregnancy can be punk-princess-perfection.
It may be Nicky’s third pregnancy, but she’s certainly coming first in the style stakes this time around. The best accessory to wear at New York Fashion Week you ask? A baby bump with matching pregnancy glow.
