Yolanda Hadid has expressed her gratitude for a beautiful new addition to her life: her granddaughter. In September, Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik welcomed their first child into the world, and the Hadid family couldn’t be happier.
“My heart is expanding with so much love and joy for this little baby girl she is an angel sent to us from above,” Yolanda shared on Instagram alongside a photo of her holding her granddaughter’s tiny hand. “Thank you Mommy & Daddy for making me an Oma, I love every minute of it.” Yolanda, who hails from the Netherlands, uses the German word “Oma” meaning grandmother.
It’s not the only insight the Hadid family has given their followers of late. Both Zayn and Gigi shared black-and-white photos on social media not long after welcoming their firstborn. “Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend and she’s already changed our world. So in love,” Gigi posted on 24 September.
On the same day, Zayn shared a sweet snap. “Our baby girl is here, healthy and beautiful. To try [to] put into words how I am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, and thankful for the life we will have together,” he wrote. Looks like it’ll be aunt Bella next…
