TWENTY-TWO is a symbolic number for Vogue Arabia: the twenty-second edition of Vogue, speaking to twenty-two countries across the Arab world.

We arrive with the strength to conjure up the birthplaces of Al-Mutanabbi, Kahlil Gibran, Umm Kulthum, Azzedine Alaïa, and Zaha Hadid. We speak of far away places called home, the Silk Road, a rich tapestry of culture hailing back to the ancient world…A heritage that has inspired thinkers, change makers, pioneers: T.E. Lawrence, Yves Saint Laurent, Alber Elbaz, and Thea Porter. The time has come to celebrate what has been — and what is yet to come.

The walls of my office are lined with strong, determined ideas that aim to deliver a unique edition of Vogue, with a longing to point the compass of fashion and culture back to this place. Globally relevant, but poised to speak to you. The enchantment, mystery, dreaming, and beauty will come full circle. With Vogue Arabia, we give you — the Arab woman — what was always rightfully yours.

Enter the era of Vogue Arabia.
