His collection wowed the front row at Couture Week, but Rabih Kayrouz‘s pieces could also be spotted out and about on the streets of Paris last week. In fact, one particular piece by the Lebanese designer found favor with the Middle East’s style set during Couture Week – likely, in part, due to the timely proclamation emblazoned across its front. Maison Rabih Kayrouz “It’s Couture Baby” tee was sported by Lebanese influencer and entrepreneur Lana El Sahely, who shared an Instagram image en route back from the French capital. The new mom teamed the white-and-red design with light-wash denim, Balenciaga sneakers, and subtle cat-eye sunnies.
The logo tee was also worn by Karen Wazen as the Dubai-based It Girl journeyed from Paris to London. The style star also paired her T-shirt, which is available at The Modist, with denim, this time opting for a mid-wash hue, as well as a black belt and Dior bag. A swipe of red lipstick punctuated the slogan, which originally made its debut as a neon sign at Kayrouz’s Fall 2018 runway show.
The cotton tee was also spotted on Swiss blogger Yousra Zein by photographer Valentina Frugiuele, who captured the best street-style looks to inform your off-duty dressing. Click here for more of Vogue Arabia’s Couture Week street-style snaps to bookmark now.
