For those looking to inject a little extra culture into their new-season wardrobes, one regional pop-up is here to help. Robinsons, the department store located at Dubai’s Festival City Mall, has launched an exclusive new boutique dedicated to four to India’s most revered designers. Atelier India brings together haute couture designs from Rajesh Pratap, Raghavendra Rathore, Rohit Bal and Shantanu & Nikhil all under one roof, creating a sartorial ode to the Asian nation. “The story told is of a pure, majestic, vibrant and revolutionary India and the collections are themed on the aspirational and inspirational beauty of Indian culture and tradition,” says Robinsons in a press release. “Each designer touches on the themes in a unique fashion to create pieces that tell a story through textile, color, heritage and cuts.”

Lauching with a high-octane runway show on September 27, the pop-up showcased each label’s design DNA. New Delhi-based Rajesh Pratap is renowned for his clean lines and purist aesthetic, while Raghavendra Rathore is focused on heritage tailoring. Rohit Bal draws on India’s culture and folklore to create vibrant, ornately embroidered pieces, and Shantanu & Nikhil fuse vintage silhouettes with contemporary detailing in its progressive designs. The exclusive capsule collections will be available at Robinsons until October 20, 2018, so make sure not to miss them.
