She’s been busy touring with her new album, Hassa Beek, but Nancy Ajram will soon be taking a break from the road. The Lebanese superstar is set to welcome her third child, the singer announced this week, taking to Instagram to reveal her pregnancy to her 16 million followers. “Mila and Ella’s wish has been fulfilled,” the 35-year-old captioned an image of her two daughters, who held boards announcing they are to become big sisters. Ajram has not yet revealed any further details, such as her due date, of her third child with her husband, dentist Fadi El Hachem.
The couple, who wed in 2008, welcomed Mila in 2009, and Ella in 2011. Ajram has previously released songs dedicated to her daughters around the times of their birth; Ya Rabi Tekbar Mila, and Hadri Laabek. The star’s pregnancy reveal comes just days after she performed at Beirut’s Holidays Festival, and it is not yet known when she will take a break from touring as she prepares to welcome her new arrival.
The star has previously spoken about how important her family is, telling Vogue Arabia earlier this year that “I am a mother like any other”. “I’m neither convinced nor ready to stay away from my daughters for a long time,” Ajram said when quizzed on a possible move into cinema. “I’m satisfied with what I have achieved so far.” Mabrouk to the family!
