In advance of the release on July 16, Arabic streaming service Shahid VIP premiered a 30-second teaser for its new documentary featuring Nancy Ajram and husband, Fadi Al Hashem. Titled The Full Story, the film is centered around the burglary that took place at the singer’s Beirut residence earlier in the year, in which the intruder, identified as 30-year-old Mohammad Al Mousa, was reportedly shot and killed by her husband. Al Hashem has since been charged with intentional murder after Al Mousa was shot 16 times.

Filmed in Arabic, the short documentary will feature snippets of real footage from the night of the burglary. In the trailer, a conversation between Ajram and an interviewer can be heard, with the singer saying “Minutes passed by like a year. Did Fadi die? He didn’t die.” The interviewer then says, “There are details that we, and the people, need to know. You’re going to tell us everything,” to which, Ajram replies, “Of course.”

Earlier in the year, Ajram spoke to Lebanon LBCI Lebanon News, a TV station in Beirut, and urged people to “put themselves in her husband’s shoes.” “Before anything, Fadi is a father and a husband. He has responsibilities. He is a human being and it was a normal reaction to the threat he experienced,” she said. At the time, a number of Arab celebrities stood in solidarity with the singer, including Egyptian singer Tamer Hosny, who took to Instagram with a picture of Ajram and her family alongside a caption that read “get well soon Nancy. God bless you, your children and your husband.” Neither Ajram nor husband Al Hashem have commented on the release of the trailer.
