It looks like there’s no love lost between Younes Bendjima and the family of his now ex-girlfriend, Kourtney Kardashian. Just days after the Algerian model and reality TV star were revealed to have split, the mother-of-three’s sisters have dropped some hints about the reasons behind the break-up.

Kim Kardashian West and sister Khloé took to Instagram this week to troll the 25-year-old model, following rumors Kourtney had called off their two-year relationship. The surprise break-up was revealed by TMZ, which reported that Bendjima journeyed to Mexico after the split, where he was snapped sunbathing with several female friends. As rumors of cheating began to swirl, the model headed to his Instagram Stories, telling gossip column The Shade Room, “once again, you guys failed”. “I know who I am, where I’m from, and where I’m going, and that bothers you,” he added.

However, Kim had zero time for the model’s excuses, commenting on The Shade Room’s coverage: “Nice pics from your ‘boys trip’.” Also jumping to Kourtney’s defense was sister Khloé, who responded to another of Bendjima’s Instagram Stories. The model shared a screenshot of a Daily Mail article, captioning it “they really want me to be the bad guy”. “Can’t have fun with your friends no more,” he added. However, Khloé clapped back with a real zinger, posting, “Alexa play ‘heard it all before’ by Sunshine Anderson,” in the comments.

According to TMZ, Kourtney was the one who called off the relationship with the model, following two years together. The pair first met in 2016 during Paris Fashion Week, after the 39-year-old split with long-term partner Scott Disick in 2015. Kardashian and Younes’s split has come as a shock to fans, as the pair recently traveled throughout Europe on a summer vacation. They were joined for some of the holiday by Kardashian’s children; Mason, 8, Reign, 3, and Penelope, 5. The pair have enjoyed several far-flung escapes in their time together, with 39-year-old Kardashian revealing in episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians that she wasn’t ready to combine her relationship and her three kids.

“I’ve definitely learned from my past relationship, where I really wouldn’t travel without the kids and I think it is important to take time — especially because my relationship is important to me and those worlds aren’t colliding right now — just making sure that I make time for both,” she said. “I think going on a trip once in a while reminds me the importance of being present and in the moment when I’m at home, and I think it makes me the best mom that I can be.”

Kardashian and Younes have since unfollowed each other on Instagram, with a source telling People “it didn’t end well.” However, it looks like Kourtney’s family have certainly got her back.
