It’s a hotel with real history, nestled just west of Downtown Cairo – and it has opened up its doors for a picturesque shoot. The Cairo Marriott Hotel on Gezira Island is the backdrop for Jessica Kahawaty‘s latest campaign, which forms part of her charitable collaboration with Egyptian fashion agency Maison Pyramide. The Lebanese-Australian model, TV host, and lawyer teamed up with the agency to raise funds for the Helm Foundation, a charity dedicated to helping empower people living with disabilities. To support the non-profit, which first launched in 2014, Kahawaty and Maison Pyramide hosted a charity gala earlier this month, attended by some of the nation’s most famous faces. Designers including Ammanii, Azza Fahmy, Dima Jewelry, Dina Targam, Djewelled, Hugo Boss, Kojak, Mohamed El Sagheer, Okhtein, and Vartan donated items for a silent auction, the proceeds of which went to the foundation.
