The world’s largest shopping destination is marking quite the occasion next month – its 10th birthday. In November, The Dubai Mall will celebrate its first decade in business, and it’s honoring the milestone with an entire month of events and activities that will make the Downtown staple even more of a must-visit.
The extraordinary program features mesmerizing shows, stunning exhibitions, enlightening talks, and generous giveaways – and Vogue Arabia is joining in on the action. “Vogue Loves Fashion Avenue”, a a 10-day celebration of all things style-related, will be held between November 15 and 24, and will officially mark the grand opening of the mall’s luxury shopping extension. The Vogue-crafted itinerary will feature events and activations from brands and labels, as well as a series of talks featuring some of the industry’s most iconic names. There will also be a series of immersive installations that celebrate the world’s four fashion capitals (and will offer you that perfect Instagram backdrop, rest assured).

Paying tribute to the destination’s four pillars of fashion, entertainment, shopping, and giving, visitors can also expect daily surprises, randoms acts of kindness, and prizes – including three luxurious new Emaar apartments. A dynamic light and sound show, created by the founder of Cirque du Soleil, will also play nightly in the Star Atrium, to add extra sparkle to proceedings.
“Ever since its opening in November 2008 and the grand inauguration in May 2009, The Dubai Mall has continuously redefined the shopping and leisure experience for visitors, introducing innovative concepts, hosting celebrities, and serving as the destination of choice for families to come together and celebrate life,” said Mohamed Alabbar, chairman of Emaar Properties and board member of Emaar Malls, as the anniversary celebrations were announced.
To date, The Dubai Mall has welcomed more than 80 million visitors. By the end of next month, thanks to all the festivities, we imagine it’ll be even more.
