With its ground floor, street access location and vibrant neon pink façade, Facilité is a welcome addition to Dubai Design District’s growing directory of designer showrooms, galleries and restaurants. Founded by Firras Alwahabi, who already nurtures regional design talent through his PR agency Faux, hopes this new space will ‘act as a real-life incubator for designers and brands to connect to their audience.”
Inside, an industrial style space is intelligently curated, divided into sections dedicated to each designer currently in residence – a rotating roster of talent means there will always be something new to see.
Current highlights include luxury leather handbag line HALM, with its Scandi minimalism and focus on quality, wearable contemporary tailoring by Lebanese designer Lama Jouni, Arcade III’s retro graphic t-shirts by Palestinian creative Lina Mustafa and futuristic micro eyewear by Roberi & Fraud.
