Have you always wanted to snap up one of the British brand’s ubiquitous trench coats? Well, now might be the perfect time. Burberry has launched a pop-up in The Dubai Mall that celebrates its iconic Heritage Trench Coat collection, and allows shoppers to put their own unique spin on the design for a limited time.
Located in the label’s boutique in the Downtown Dubai destination, the temporary space showcases the collection’s three signature styles for men and women, which can be purchased in a multitude of hues. Those who wish to get their hands on the classic outerwear during the pop-up can personalize their choice with a selection of limited-edition buttons, each inspired by the Burberry archives. Said archives have also proved the inspiration for the label’s redesigned logo, unveiled by new chief creative officer Riccardo Tisci earlier this year.
Each trench is crafted in Burberry’s Yorkshire factory, using gabardine fabric devised by the fashion house’s founder, Thomas Burberry. The piece is available in in three key styles: the slim-fit Chelsea, the classic-fit Kensington, and the relaxed-fit Westminster, with each available in longer and shorter lengths. Color-wise, women’s styles come in classic honey, dark khaki, mid-grey and midnight, while the men’s range sweeps from black to dark khaki, mid-grey, and honey.
The Dubai Mall Heritage Trench Studio will be open until October 27 – but don’t fear if you miss it. The pop-up will then move to Burberry’s Mall of the Emirates boutique, where it will be housed between October 29 and November 10.
