We’ll be stepping out in style this season thanks to an exclusive new collaboration. Alberta Ferretti has designed a capsule collection for a Saudi Arabian luxury retailer as part of an upcoming pop-up with the Italian designer. The Rubaiyat Department Store in Jeddah will host a selection of accessories from the label’s Fall 2018 collection from October 15 to November 15, featuring four exclusive iterations of Ferretti’s iconic Mia Mule.

With its clean silhouette and delicate stiletto, the design brings a certain glamour and refined sensibility to any ensemble. For Rubaiyat, the label has dreamed up three high-heeled and one flat incarnation of the mule, each enlivened with ornate detailing. A silver variety comes emblazoned with glimmering gemstones, while a rope-trimmed black heel is given extra elegance with a touch of golden hardware. We think we’ve met our sole mates.

The pop-up comes as Rubaiyat prepares to herald a new ladies store spanning over 2000 square meters in Olaya, Riyadh, which will also include a café and mini spa. “This is a dream that we’ve been wanting to realize for many years,” Wafaa Abbar, president of Rubaiyat Group, told Vogue Arabia last month. The mezzanine will offer footwear from brands including AquazzuraMalone Souliers, Sergio Rossi, but also Golden Goose and Nike while the store’s ground floor will propose handbags and accessories by brands like Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, and Saint Laurent alongside labels Phillip Lim, MSGM, Helmut Lang, and Alexander Wang. Upstairs, eveningwear from Jenny Packham and Naeem Khan will satisfy special occasion indulgences.
