V&A’s Naomi Campbell Exhibition Opens Soon — Here’s Everything to Know About the Showcase

This summer, a new Naomi Campbell exhibition is coming to London’s Victoria & Albert Museum.

Titled Naomi: In Fashion, the exhibit launches on June 22, and will run on till April 6, 2025. Tickets have officially gone on sale, and will showcase specially curated artifacts from her 40-year career in the fashion industry. Fashion enthusiasts can expect to see some of the most memorable looks worn by the supermodel at key shows, along with pictures of her when she wore them. In total, the exhibition will showcase close to 100 ensembles and accessories from some of the biggest fashion houses in the world — from Alexander McQueen, Alaïa, Chanel and Versace, to Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana, Yves Saint Laurent, and many more. Pictures shot by iconic photographers like Peter Lindbergh and Steven Meisel will also be on display, all curated by  Edward Enninful.

Among the highlights will be the Thierry Mugler car-inspired corset Campbell wore back in 1989, the Vivienne Westwood platforms that caused the model’s much-talked-about runway fall, and among the more recent pieces, the hot pink Valentino gown, Campbell wore at the 2019 Met Gala. Another major feature of the exhibit will focus on Naomi Campbell’s special bond with Tunisian designer Azzedine Alaïa. “Azzedine was a father figure to me, and Gianni [Versace] too,” she said in a recent interview.

The Naomi Campbell exhibition will also spotlight pieces from her career in activism and share more details on all the contributions she has made beyond fashion, via philanthropy and other causes. According to the Victoria & Albert Museum website, this will be “the first exhibition of its kind exploring the extraordinary career of fashion model Naomi Campbell. Through the work of leading global designers and photographers, we celebrate her creative collaborations, activism and far-reaching cultural impact.” Buy your tickets now!
