Vogue Arabia Celebrates the Launch of Mulberry’s First Store in the Middle East

On Thursday evening, Vogue Arabia celebrated the launch of Mulberry’s store in Dubai with a special in-store event. Located in The Dubai Mall’s Fashion Avenue, it is the British luxury lifestyle brand’s first standalone store in the city.

The store opening, hosted by Vogue Arabia Editor-in-Chief Manuel Arnaut and Mulberry CEO Thierry Andretta, brought together some of the Middle Eastern fashion industry’s finest. Hala Abdallah, Nadya Hasan, and Rhea Jacobs – who were all dressed in Mulberry – joined model Farnoush Hamidian; Lojain Omran; and Nervora’s CEO and Publisher, Shashi Menon. DJ Liutik, also dressed in Mulberry, set the mood for the launch while Cova provided high-style catering inspired by Mulberry’s key fashion and accessories.

The Dubai store boasts a new immersive design concept created by British interior designer Faye Toogood and Mulberry’s Creative Director Johnny Coca. At the Dubai opening, the brand introduced the new Keeley bag which is now available to pre-order. The Keeley and its mini-sized version both embody the rebellious spirit of Britain with a new studded signature hardware, the Keystone Lock.

Founded in 1971 in the UK, Mulberry is known for its exquisite leather goods for men and women, as well as women’s ready-to-wear and shoes. Its accessories have been spotted on A-list celebrities including Cara Delevingne, Alexa Chung, Lily Collins, Keira Knightley, Lady Gaga, and even British royals Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle.
