You Won’t Be Able to Keep Your Hands Off Mulberry’s Latest Bags

Mulberry is taking quilted purses to the next level with its softest bag yet. Aptly named the Mulberry Softie, the collection of bags in three styles is created to stand out with its pillowy feel and modern design that has an emphasis on texture.

The bag features Mulberry’s unique take on curved quilting, combining the smooth finish of the highest quality Nappa leather, with a thick feather down filling which bounces back to its original shape when squeezed. The Nappa leather is environmentally accredited, and the bag uses Responsible Down-Standard feathers and down, as well as recycled nylon lining as part of the brand’s ‘Made to Last’ ethos.

The Softie comes in a palette of colors ranging from “mood-boosting” shades to versatile neutrals, all of which complement the bag’s texture: coral orange, cornflower blue, wild primrose, black, and tobacco brown. Made with a brand new silhouette, the line of bags feature the luxury British lifestyle brand’s signature design codes including the Postman’s Lock as well as new metal hardware like the paper clip chain strap.

The bags are designed to be everyday essentials and thus come in three varying sizes; the Softie which features both a leather top handle as well as a shoulder strap to be worn hands-free, the Little Softie whose long chain strap can be worn across the body, or doubled up and worn as a shoulder bag, and the Big Softie which is a tote made to carry it all.

Snugly tucked under your arm or slung on your shoulder, in a color that matches your outfit or contrasts it, the Softie is Mulberry’s latest addition to the world of modern bags that can stand the test of time.
