The look also found a fan in Emma Watson, who wore a one-sleeved halter dress by Kitx that featured silver sequins trailing from the front and back, to accept her gender-neutral best actor award for Beauty and the Beast. The look was heightened with equally reflective, slicked back hair. Taraji P. Henson turned up the glamour with a metallic, body-hugging Emilio Pucci Fall 2017 gown, and Yara Shahidi practically shut down the red carpet in a mirrored Gucci skirt and rhinestone-covered sandals.
The high-octane drama wasn’t just reserved for the gowns. Hailee Steinfeld elevated her embellished Fausto Puglisi cut-out dress with a pair of metal-dipped Christian Louboutin heels, while Pretty Little Liars actor Shay Mitchell, who wore a shiny, animal-print Roberto Cavalli dress, updated her smoky eye with a neat line of dazzling gold pigment across her lids.
