Mona Kattan Chose a Breezy Animal Print Blouse for a Romantic Honeymoon Dinner With Husband Hassan Elamin

After getting married in an intimate but lavish ceremony in Dubai, Mona Kattan has jetted to the picturesque Maldives with husband Hassan Elamin for their honeymoon. The co-founder of Kayali fragrances took to Instagram last evening to share glimpses of their romantic vacation with her 2.5 million followers, from trying Maldivian cuisine to getting pampered at the spa.

The newlyweds experienced a particularly special evening during their time there when their hotel treated them to an alfresco dinner by the sea. Clips shared by the Elamins showed a seaside table for two, surrounded by lamps set on the sand, and candles spelling out their wedding date, 22-2-22. For the romantic dinner, Kattan opted for a pared-back ensemble including a breezy animal print blouse. While she is the sister of beauty mogul Huda Kattan and is often glammed up, she chose to go makeup-free this time, letting her post-wedding glow take centrestage.

Before taking off on her honeymoon, Kattan shared with Vogue Arabia which scents from her own brand she would be taking with her. The entrepreneur packed a trio of Kayali scents for the romantic getaway, calling them perfect for a beachy holiday: Utopia Vanilla Coco | 21, Eden Juicy Apple | 01 and Vanilla | 28. “When I have it on, I truly feel that I am in my daydreams,” she says of the first fragrance. “To keep my hair smelling unique throughout the day, I would spray a bit into my hair towel before drying my hair.”

The happy couple tied the knot in February after getting engaged in December 2021. The wedding, attended by some of Kattan’s close friends, and sister Huda Kattan, took place at the opulent Raffles the Palm, Dubai.
