It’s the ’90s throwback that’s now a 2018 comeback, and it’s just been repped by one of the world’s most famous faces. Supermodel Karlie Kloss wore a slinky, silky slip dress in a mossy hue to an exclusive bash held in Paris this week, and nailed the minimal piece with simple brass bangles, slicked-back locks, and dewy, fresh skin. The catwalk icon attended a dinner hosted by Moda Operandi, to celebrate the luxury e-tailer’s homewares launch with LA lifestyle label The Elder Statesman. Plenty of A-listers, including Moda co-founder Lauren Santo Domingo, Poppy Delevingne, Nicky Hilton Rothschild, Camille Rowe, and Princess Elisabeth von Thurn und Taxis, were in attendance, with guests served up pizzas, fresh burrata, and plenty of pasta on specially crafted plates from the new tabletop collection. “It was an intimate —and very Latin— soirée,” says Vogue Arabia features director Caterina Minthe, reporting from Paris. “It felt like one last hurrah with friends before the holidays and the gorgeous flatware already seemed to transport us to a beach town far from Paris.”
