She’s supported educational organization Pencils of Promise as part of her collaboration with Stuart Weitzman, and now Gigi Hadid has opened up about the next chapter in her charitable endeavors. The half-Palestinian supermodel will be working with the United Nations Children’s Fund, she revealed on Instagram this week. “Very much looking forward to learning and working with UNICEF,” the 23-year-old told her 40 million followers, alongside a shot of her at the organization’s New York headquarters.

Hadid met with UNICEF USA chief executive officer Caryl Stern, and thanked the non-profit boss for her time. “I am grateful and excited for the opportunity to better the lives of children all over the world,” added the model. UNICEF, which was first founded in 1946, is a United Nations program that provides humanitarian and developmental assistance to children and mothers in developing countries. It’s currently unknown in what capacity Hadid will be working with the organization, but UNICEF told the model “the feeling is mutual” following her Instagram post. “So thrilled to share #UNICEF’s work #ForEveryChild. Looking forward to collaborating with you!” the non-profit’s US account wrote.

UNICEF International Ambassadors currently include icons such as HM Queen Rania of Jordan, Serena Williams, Priyanka Chopra, and Katy Perry. News of Hadid’s humanitarian work comes shortly after her rumored reconciliation with Zayn Malik, fewer than three months after the pair announced their split. The runway star hinted at a reunion with the British singer after sharing a selfie of the two on her Instagram Stories last week (and we all know that making it “Instagram official” counts for something). Neither the model nor Malik have publicly confirmed whether their romance is back on, however, though the rumor mill has kicked into overdrive following the release of the cosy snapshot. We’ll bring you more on Hadid’s UNICEF work when we have it, but in the meantime we’ll eagerly be watching her Instagram Stories for future appearances from Zayn…
