Emily Ratajkowski Captures Morocco’s Many Charms in Travel Snaps

With its dizzying landscapes, smorgasbord of cultures, and tantalizing cuisine, it’s no wonder that Morocco is consistently named as one of the world’s must-visit countries – and yet another A-lister has been won over by its wonders.

Model Emily Ratajkowski paid the North African country a visit this week, taking to Instagram to share a series of snapshots from Marrakech with her 20 million followers. The 27-year-old turned travel photographer during her trip, capturing images of the city’s distinctive architecture, bustling souks, vibrant decor, and colorful textiles in an evocative gallery.

The star also posed for a selfie as she looked out on the city’s skyline, captioning the shot: “Marrakech moonrise.” Ratajkowski traveled to the destination with her husband of nine months, actor and producer Sebastian Bear-McClard, according to her Instagram Stories, where she shared a shot of the couple snuggled up.

The model isn’t the first star in recent months to be bowled over by Morocco, with American actress Halle Berry also sharing stunning shots from the country as she filmed the third installment of the John Wick action thriller series last month. Berry will play Sofia, an ally assassin of the titular character, in the film, which is due to be released next spring.

“Instead of crying because it’s over, I smile because it happened!” the star captioned one shot, after shooting wrapped up several days ago. “Everything has changed, and yet, I’m more me than I’ve ever been,” Berry also wrote along with a shot of herself in the desert. “One of my favorite parts of Morocco has been the endless opportunity to capture beautiful images. Photography is my passion and this trip has been so memorable for me.”
