Bella Hadid and The Weeknd Tease Fans With More Snaps from Their Tokyo Trip

Are they or aren’t they? That’s the question on everyone’s lips as Bella Hadid and The Weeknd appear to have rekindled their romance – but the A-list pair aren’t publicly confirming anything just yet. However, the duo, who split back in 2016, are currently enjoying a trip in Japan, along with a group of friends, judging by their social media feeds. The couple was first photographed enjoying a night out in Tokyo this weekend, and now each have featured each other on their numerous Instagram Stories posted from the capital city.

The twosome teased fans with snippets from a day out at the Mori Building Digital Art Museum, an interactive experience that offers otherworldly visuals. The pair chased digital butterflies through one room, according to a clip shared by half-Palestinian supermodel Hadid, while the RnB singer (born Abel Tesfaye) shared a self-portrait from one space seemingly filled with projections of lamps. Twenty-one-year-old Hadid also shared an intimate black-and-white shot of the Call Out My Name crooner, as he crouched on a ramp, lights illuminating the room. “Muse forever,” the face of Dior Beauty captioned the image, along with two heart-shaped emojis.

The photograph is the closest Hadid has come to confirming the pair are back together, almost two years after they first parted ways. Following the end of their 18-month relationship, the musician went on to date Selena Gomez, before the couple split in 2017 after almost one year together. Shortly after Tesfaye ended things with Gomez, he was allegedly spotted with Hadid at Coachella in April and during the Cannes Film Festival in May, sparking reconciliation rumors (Note: Hadid would go on to deny that she was the mystery girl from Coachella).

“As an outsider, you might think I handled it so well, but it’s always in your heart, and you always feel it very heavily,” she later told Teen Vogue about the breakup. “It’ll be hard for a while. Love hurts, but you have to pull through.” The are-they-or-aren’t-they couple, who still haven’t re-followed each other on Instagram since their split, were also photographed together in Paris as recently as June. However, given the latest posts to their feeds, it seems they might not need to hit that follow button to prove their relationship status.
