With the Spring 2020 collections currently walking down the runway at New York Fashion Week, there has been no shortage of standout pieces.
On the closing day, Wednesday 11 September, American fashion designer Michael Kors is slated to unveil his eponymous label’s highly anticipated Spring 2020 collection, which is rumored to include some surprises.
Kors’ Fall 2019 runway had featured uncommon tailoring traits as models were seen carrying bold shouldered belted frocks, ruffled blazers, and tuxedos with Swarovski-crystal pinstripes. This year, the designer has promised to feature nostalgic showstoppers that will provide better insight as well as transform the world’s perspective of the brand.
The jam-packed finale to NYFW will also take off with a short film by Grammy-nominated director Alison Chemich, Michael Kors: A Portrait. The mini-documentary will reveal secrets of Kors’ design philosophy, adored fashion moments, origins, and a never-before-seen look into his 40-year-old empire.
