This year’s theme— Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination —will challenge attendees to take on the fusion of Catholicism meets fashion in a formal setting.
Over the years, this fashionable event has seen guests embrace the themed dress code in elaborate gowns. However, a number of attendees take it to the next level with extravagant headpieces, bejeweled hair accessories, and striking veils that demand a double take. Last year, Céline Dion made her Met Gala debut wearing an Atelier Versace gown paired with an origami-inspired headpiece.
