Given the Met Gala’s status as fashion’s biggest night of the year, it’s no surprise that so many A-list couples use the first Monday of May as an opportunity to make their first joint red-carpet appearance. Case in point: Alexa Chung and Tom Sturridge, who appeared together at this year’s star-studded event, held in honour of the late creative director Karl Lagerfeld.
Other couples to grace this year’s Met Gala red carpet included Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, and Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian (who happily announced that they’re expecting their second child together, on the steps of the Met).
