From NYFW to Buckingham Palace: Meghan Markle’s Definitive Style Evolution

Following small roles in TV shows such as CSI: NY and 90210Meghan Markle shot to fame when she was cast as Rachel Zane in USA Network’s courtroom drama, Suits.

Since, Markle has dabbled in many projects; as well as assuming the role of editor-in-chief of her lifestyle website The Tig (and subsequently calling time on the site earlier this year), she became global ambassador for World Vision Canada in 2016 and is an advocate for the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women. Ever since Prince Harry confirmed his relationship with the actress in a statement released by Kensington Palace Markle has been sky-rocketed into the media spotlight, becoming one of the most Googled actresses of 2016.

With a palette of monochrome and tonal looks under her belt, Markle has honed her red-carpet style to polished perfection. The actress has been known to frequent New York Fashion Week, and isn’t afraid of adding designer looks into the mix.

The model-turned-actress once cited Paris Vogue’s editor-in-chief, Emmanuelle Alt, as her style inspiration: “I also love that French way of styling, where if your outfit is pulled together, then something’s got to be dishevelled – your hair, your make-up,” she told Glamour in an interview.
Rarely seen without her signature blow dry and pointed stiletto heels, Markle often draws a comparison with her Suits character, Rachel Zane, with a penchant for the pencil skirt. From small-screen star to Princess potential, we take a look at the actress’s best looks.
