While promoting her new production, mom-to-be Margot Robbie made a rare red carpet appearance in a stylish, yet comfortable ensemble.

Margot Robbie has been enjoying one last superyacht in Sardinia before welcoming her little one. But recently, the actress returned to Los Angeles to promote the new film she and husband Tom Ackerley have produced. The project is a coming-of-age movie starring Maisy Stella and Aubrey Plaza, and centers on a teenage girl who meets an older version of herself, who has been left embittered by a string of failed romances.
For the outing, Margot Robbie posed on the red carpet in a draped jersey dress that was equal parts practical and stylish. The deep greige number featured an asymmetrical off-shoulder cut, and skimmed over Robbie’s baby bump to end at her ankles. A slit made the dress more wearable for mums-to-be, while the palette of the dress makes it a fail-safe choice that’s a breeze to style. In Robbie’s case the add-ons included a chunky gold bracelet and strappy black heels. Blown out hair and a pretty, sunkissed beauty look added final touches.
Plaza did not make an appearance, but Stella managed to conjure a sisterhood of her own. She wore a Simone Rocha dress that first debuted in the designer’s spring/summer 2024 collection – where fresh flowers were bunched between layers of sheer tulle to evoke the idea of bouquets being thrown to ballerinas – and has since taken on an intense presence on the red carpet and in magazine editorials. Consider it this season’s equivalent to the threadbare Miu Miu skirt… or the dreaded Zara polka dot dress of 2019.
