You’ll Never Guess Which High-Street Brand Made Their Debut at the Met Gala this Year

The Met Gala 2019, the annual iconic event in the fashion world for both designers and celebrities, has been the most talked about event in recent days. This year, the clothing company of Mango made their debut at the Met Gala, becoming the first Spanish high-street brand to design an outfit exclusively for the event.

The outfit designed, was in line with the Met Gala’s theme for this year, “Camp: Notes on Fashion” and was based on the notion of the mango portraying a fun, vibrant look on the red carpet. The colors and layers on the creation convey an elegant appearance yet embody a dramatic look, ideal for the theme of the event. Along with the dress, the accessories added an element of amusement to the overall look portrayed.

The outfit was donned by the brand’s ambassador herself, Sofia Sanchez de Betak, who stunned the crowd in the creation along with the intricate details of the accessories. Sofia Sanchez de Betak, who has been a part of the Mango family for over two years now, worked closely with the stylist Mimi Cuttrel and the rest of Mango’s design team to develop the look.

Along with Mango making its debut at one of the most remarkable fashion events of the year, the brand has also designed a capsule collection with a range of pieces inspired by the Met Gala theme.
