Magrabi’s New Campaign for Leïla&Leïla Color Lenses Brings the Legend of Arabian Nights to Life

The well-known tale of One Thousand and One Nights, passed down from generations of storytellers and enchanted a region a thousand years ago, has inspired a new line of contact lenses, named Leïla&Leïla.

The colored contact lenses represented exclusively by longstanding Middle Eastern brand Magrabi, champion Arabian beauty and celebrate One Thousand and One Nights’ most inspiring women: Shahrazade, Duniazade, Jasmine, Zumurrud, Myriam, and Morgiana. Each colored contact lens is named after the enchanting characters, each with her own story to tell, and her own distinctive trait.

In its campaign film, well-known names from the region and friends of the brand embody each of the characters, with Mthayel Al-Ali representing Zumurrud, Iranian triplets Golnaz, Tanaz, and Elnaz Hakkak representing Duniazade, Saudi model Taleedah Tamer as Jasmine, Jordanian influencer Zein Qutami as Myriam and finally, Lebanese actor Stephanie Saliba playing the role of Shahrazade.

More than just a change in eye color, the new range of lenses uses the nostalgic and ancient tale, better known as The Arabian Nights to truly evoke feelings of wisdom, power, and the great influence of the characters. Among the Leïla&Leïla collection is the piercing Midnight Grey colored contact lenses, named after Shahrazade, as she weaved her tales during the dead of night. Duniazade is a calm Sunset Hazel as she inspired her sister to resort to storytelling during the change of day. And Miriam, the ever so strong, is a Sailor Gold with a heart of a warrior and a conqueror.
