After what has been a challenging time for the industry, the first “phygital” fashion month successfully comes to an end today, October 6, in Paris. Seeing it out in style will be the live digital showcase of French designer Nicolas Ghesquière‘s Spring/Summer 2021 collection for Louis Vuitton.

It is set to take place at 5pm GST today, on the top floor of Paris’ La Samaritaine, a large department store that is currently under construction and expected to reopen in early 2021. Ghesquière will be sending his work down the runway under the LVMH-owned building’s glass dome dubbed “La Rotonde,” marking the first event to take place at the landmark since its closure in 2005 due to safety concerns.

Highly-anticipated for all the right reasons, the show will serve three unique experiences for three different groups of viewers. Besides the guests physically seated at the venue, VIPs and friends of the fashion house tuning in virtually will be able to control a 360-degree camera from their electronic devices via a special link, while those viewing the livestream online or via Instagram will be in for a visual treat unlike any other.

Since green screen magic combined with visual effects as the backdrop to the “futurist” designer’s work is not something to miss, we have you covered with access to a virtual front-row seat to the show.

Tune in via the livestream below today, October 6 at 5pm GST to watch the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2021 collection in action. To view the other live shows taking place on the last day of Paris fashion week today, click here.
