This Skirt Length is Trending with Couture’s Front Row

The biggest houses might be pulling out all the stops when it comes to design on the runway, but in real life, Couture Week proves to bring out the chicest of street style snaps. The mood is often go bold or go home. At the Fall 2017 Couture shows, skirt lengths have taken the plunge (quite literally) as hemlines have dropped to the ankles. The mini, now substituted with almost floor-skimming skirts, has been ousted. From Olivia Palermo to Aimee Song, it’s time we took note and hid those tanned pins under beautiful swathes of silk, organza, or tulle. After all, nothing looks (or sounds) prettier than the swish and sway of a maxi skirt walking past.
