In one of the most anticipated moments of last night’s Vogue Ball of Arabia, British songstress Leona Lewis took the stage at the B Club by Bulgari at Jumeirah Mina A’Salam to serenade a star-studded audience. For the three-time Grammy and Brit award nominee, her latest trip to the UAE was made notably special with not one but two stunning looks by Arab designers.

“I must say that Arab designers are so incredible, they know how to dress a woman’s body very beautifully,” Lewis shared with Vogue Arabia shortly after she performed in a sparkling purple gown by Syrian couturier Rami Al Ali. “The cut, the design, the fabric, the material, the color, it’s probably one of my all-time favorites,” she added. Before Lewis had the crowd singing along to her much-loved hits, she walked into the Vogue Ball of Arabia in another show-stopping number. This time, a voluminous black off-shoulder creation by celebrity-loved Bahraini label Monsoori, paired with dazzling Bulgari jewelry.

“It was so epic to be on stage at the Ball of Arabia,” Lewis gushed. “I’m just so honored to be here and really it’s like a dream come true for me because ever since I was a little girl, I knew about Vogue, so to be here tonight and singing here, is just incredible.” The ‘Bleeding Love’ singer also revealed the three things she loves the most about Dubai. “I love to visit the beach,” Lewis said. “I went indoor skiing which was so fun, and I’ve also been to some really great dinner shows.”
