10 Times Leona Lewis Owned the Red Carpet with Her Fierce and Romantic Sense of Style

Besides commanding the stage with her beautiful voice, Leona Lewis also knows how to work a red carpet with her fierce and romantic sense of style. While the British singer’s off-duty wardrobe features colorful pieces and casual silhouettes, she lets ultra-feminine gowns and power suits take the spotlight during her public appearances.

The three-time Grammy nominee and Brit award nominee leans towards sculptural, monochrome looks to make a statement without ever going overboard. Favoring fail-safe black on many occasions, Lewis wore a satin Zac Posen gown to the opening of Cats in 2916, followed by a strappy Vitor Zerbinato velvet number to the Global Citizen Prize Gala in 2019, and a Christian Siriano ruffled dress to the Elton John Aids Foundation’s Academy Awards party in 2020. Her repertoire of best looks also includes sparkly, metallic outfits, such as the gold Pamella Roland gown she wore to the Monte-Carlo Gala for Planetary Health in 2020, and the sequined Thai Nguyen dress to The Point Foundation Honors Los Angeles 2018 Gala. For the premiere of Black Panther in 2018, the “Bleeding Love” singer combined her sartorial strengths by going for a black Stephane Rolland couture gown with sharp shoulders and gold leaf embellishment.

Expect the singer to once again have a noteworthy style moment when delivers a special performance at the 2022 Vogue Ball of Arabia on December 15 in partnership with Bulgari and Instagram. Ahead of Lewis’ arrival at Dubai’s Jumeirah Mina A’Salam, we look back on her best outfits in recent years below.
