Big congratulations are in order for newly-weds Lara Scandar and Philippe Katchouni. Egyptian superstar Scandar tied the knot with her new husband surrounded by family and friends in Lebanon. When it came to exchanging vows, she chose to wear a custom fairytale gown by none other than red carpet go-to Zuhair Murad.
The singer was a picture of elegance in the crystal-encrusted wedding dress, which featured a ballgown skirt, long sleeves, and high neck. She elevated the gown with a floor-trailing, bejeweled veil – which she removed for the reception. The custom dress echoed Murad’s most recent Spring 2018 bridal collection, which featured plenty of embellished, long-sleeved pieces.
Murad was among the guests at the enchanting, forest-inspired wedding. He later shared a photo on Instagram of himself posing with the newly-wed. “And the fairytale bride of tonight is our gorgeous star @laracscandar …. congratulations,” read the caption. The following day, Scandar slipped into a floral off-the-shoulder dress, this time by Lebanese designer Sandra Mansour, for a post-wedding brunch at Château Musar, 24 kilometers north of Beirut.
