This is why Lady Gaga fans were ecstatic to see a brand new side to the artist on Tuesday when she revealed her latest beauty look while also championing an Egyptian designer.

The selfie shared with Lady Gaga‘s 56.9 million followers sees the 13-time Grammy-winning singer sitting in an open field wearing a printed summer dress and a special piece by famed Egyptian jewelry designer Azza Fahmy. Named the Lotus Pectoral collar, the piece combines 18ct gold and sterling silver, showcasing the lotus flower in various natural forms, including a large bouquet surrounded by blooms, buds, lily pads, and rosettes. “The Lotus Pectoral collar brings the story of the Egyptians’ relationship with the lotus flower to life. The piece combines the Egyptian’s love for symmetry with narrative design elements,” reads a statement from the brand. “The central flower is framed by ehker signs, the ancient Egyptian word for adornment. The necklace also reflects the vibrant ceiling patterns of Luxor’s Theban monuments.”

Gaga’s jewelry was not the only notable detail in the picture, with the artist also sporting a new dye job—on both, her hair and eyebrows. After being committed to the platinum blonde for her classic, jazzy beauty look, Gaga has seemingly made the switch to a dark brown, almost black hue. Rendered by her longtime collaborator and hairstylist Frederic Aspiras, the new hair color is a stark contrast to Gaga’s freshly bleached eyebrows.
