Lady Gaga Clearly Can’t Get Enough of This Emirati Label

Lady Gaga clearly can’t get enough of Khyeli. Shortly after making an appearance at Jimmy Kimmel Live to address that Oscar’s performance with A Star is Born co-star Bradley Cooper, wearing a black, sheer dress from Emirati brand’s Spring 2019 collection, the singer-turned-actress chose another design from the fashion house.

This weekend, the 32-year-old star was photographed in Los Angeles after recently taking home the Oscar for Best Original Song for ‘Shallow’, which is also number one on the Billboard Hot 100. She was wearing a fitted, Ingorokva mini-dress underneath a dramatic black cape from Khyeli. The coat was plucked from the brand’s Spring 2018 collection. She accessorized the all-black look with a pointy Saint Laurent pumps, a pair of diamond earrings, and a leather handbag from Celine by Hedi Slimane. The look was put together by Sandra Amador and Tom Eerebout, the styling duo who are behind Lady Gaga’s limitless wardrobe.

The London-based womenswear label is spearheaded by Ahmed Khyeli. A trained architect, his designs have been worn by the likes of Lili Reinhart and Candice Swanepoel. A former student at the American University of Sharjah, the Khyeli is known for construction, proportion, and form, which are all an integral part of the brand’s aesthetic.
