What do you get when you cross Kate Moss, Mert Alas, Marcus Piggott, and Alexandre Vauthier with Alain Mikli? A so-Instagrammable range of sunglasses with an equally bold campaign, of course. The French eyewear label teamed up with Vauthier to create a range of eclectic sunglasses, set to debut during Paris Couture Week tonight. The offering includes four Swarovski crystal-encrusted shades rendered Edwidge, Edwidge jeweled, Roselyne, and Nadége.

The campaign, shot by renowned fashion photography duo Mert and Marcus features the iconic ’90’s supermodel wearing the Alain Mikli x Alexandre Vauthier Edwidge jeweled pair with a birdcage veil. For the fashion savvy, the campaign might recall Vauthier’s Fall 2017 couture extravaganza, when Palestinian-American model Bella Hadid opened the show wearing a black, military hat paired with a face veil.

Lebanese-Armenian designer Mikli (the man behind Kanye West’s iconic shutter shades) has a string of avant-garde collaborations under his belt, including a folktale-inspired collection with his long-time friend Jean-Paul Gaultier and Oliver Peoples. The collection will make its debut on the Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2018 Haute Couture runway, set to unfold in Paris this evening.
