When Vogue Arabia hosts a ball, you can expect the biggest celebrities in the region — and the world — to be part of the celebration. And last night was no different. Hosted at Atlantis the Royal in partnership with Hongqi, Amaffi and Komos, the 2024 edition of the Vogue Ball of Arabia was a star-studded affair. Among the many names in attendance — think Nadine Nassib Njeim, Dorra Zarrouk, Lojain Omran, and more — was Indian superstar Kareena Kapoor Khan.

For her very first time at the Vogue Ball of Arabia, Kareena Kapoor Khan made sure to make a statement with her look, opting for a sparkling blue-green gown by one of India’s most loved couturiers, Sabyasachi Mukherjee. With its beautifully fitted silhouette and dramatic train, Kapoor Khan’s dress created the illusion of an elegant mermaid, making it the ideal choice for the ball, which followed a ‘Mermaids of the Gulf’ theme this year.

To complement her ensemble, the star matched her gown with a Sabyasachi clutch in the same fabric, and topped off the aquatic look with a stunning neckpiece embedded with precious gems. As for her beauty look, Kapoor Khan balanced out the drama of her outfit with a more relaxed hair and makeup combination. The star accentuated her hazel eyes with smudged out kohl, leaving the rest of her face natural and completing her look with choppy, artfully disheveled waves.
