Jennifer Lopez Dazzles in a Zuhair Murad Jumpsuit at the Palm Springs International Film Festival

With a decade-long relationship spanning dozens of awards shows, movie premieres, industry galas, and televised appearances, it should come as no surprise when Jennifer Lopez dazzles in yet another one of Zuhair Murad’s timeless creations.

However, Lopez managed to astound once more at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala after-party on January 2 when the actor and singer wore a sheer cutout jumpsuit from the Lebanese couturier’s FW 19-20 collection. Boasting a skintight silhouette decorated with sparkling floral embellishments and feather-lined cuffs leading to a high neck clasped with a jewelry-encrusted Lavallière bow, the ensemble quickly made its way to the top of the event’s best-dressed lists.

Lopez attended the 31st edition of the annual festival in California alongside her fiancé Alex Rodriguez to accept the Spotlight Award for her Oscar-buzzworthy work in the recent film HustlersEarlier on the red carpet, the Golden-Globe nominee went for a more retro classic look with a spring 2020 strapless Richard Quinn gown featuring a pastel floral print and a long train.

Although Lopez’s options are endless with the world’s most talented designers vying for a chance to dress the coveted A-lister, Murad is one of her longtime front-runners, with the star publicly admitting the Beirut-based label is “probably my favorite designer” in a recent interview.

“I discovered him years ago when I was doing a show, and I was so jet-lagged and I was up in the middle of the night watching Fashion TV, which they had in this country I was in,” reminisced Lopez. “He had this beautiful show and I was like who is this guy?”

Even though none of the American stylists she worked with knew of Murad at that time, Lopez donned one of his designs to the 2010 Met Gala and the rest is history. “After that, I started using him for everything,” she said. “He designed my last tour. We just have a great relationship; he’s a beautiful man and a beautiful designer.”
