After enchanting the crowd in Dubai at the opening of One&Only Za’abeel, Jennifer Lopez flew back to Los Angeles to celebrate the premiere of her long-awaited documentary, This is Me…Now: A Love Story. The Amazon Original takes its title after Lopez’s upcoming studio album and reimagines the events that inspired the project, which is also a sequel to her 2002 album This Is Me…Then. The premiere of the musical documentary also marked a pre-Valentine’s Day date night for Lopez and her husband Ben Affleck, who walked the red carpet together, epitomizing couple goals as usual.

Given that the occasion was a special one for Lopez, it only makes sense that she looked to her favorite couturier, Zuhair Murad to dress her. The premiere saw the star arrive in a stunning black dress by the Lebanese designer, which was picked from his Fall 2022 couture collection inspired by astrology. The gown featured a velvet bodice with a plunging neckline, and fingerless gloves in the same fabric, while its highlight was the sheer skirt embellished with stars and all the Zodiac signs in sparkling silver. Lopez’s stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn paired the look with minimal accessories including a small black clutch and dainty earrings. The actor and singer’s glam was equally noteworthy, as it featured a dazzling silver and black smokey eye complete with graphic liner, a peachy blush and pout, and a wind-swept blowout to round out the romantic look.

At a press conference ahead of the premiere, Lopez revealed how Affleck was the one to encourage her to bring the project to life. “I was like, ‘I don’t write, I don’t do this.’ He was like, ‘You do, you write, you direct, you produce, you choreograph, you do all the things. Start stepping into that, start owning a little bit of who you are,'” she recalled the actor telling her.
